opportunity to demonstrate competency in a field-based setting. Topic addressed include family issues,
preparing for respite, communication with family and client, health and
safety during respite, handling emergencies, managing behavior, and basic
care routine. CPR and Red Cross First
Aid training are a part of this course. |
