Lady Cardinals Coach


Ryan Phillips
Head Coach

Ryan Phillips enters his fifth season as the head coach for the Labette Community College softball program after a two year stint as the assistant baseball coach at Labette.  Phillips, a Native of Neosho, MO., attended Neosho High School where he earned an All-Conference selection.  He played two years at Labette as a starting pitcher and finished his career at Shorter College in Rome, GA.  Phillips was nominated to the Jayhawk East All-Star team in 2001.

Phillips earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Pittsburg State University in 2005.  Coach Phillips is married to former Leigh Ann Gatton of Parsons, KS, and they have two children: Brady and Zavier.


Kim Alexander
Assistant Coach

Kim Alexander enters her first year as the Lady Cardinal Assistant Coach after being an assistant at Cleveland High School in Cleveland, OK.  Alexander is a Native of Cleveland, OK.  She played two years at Labette as the starting second basemen and finished her career at Bacone College in Muskogee, OK.

Alexander earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bacone College in 2005.


Jamie Clark
Student Assistant Coach

Jamie Clark enters her first year as the Lady Cardinal Student Assitant coach after playing the past two seasons for the Cards.  Clark is a Native of Parsons, KS.  She played second base and outfield while playing for the Lady Cardinals.
