Linda Moore |
is an instructor and the Coordinator of the Criminal
Justice Program at Labette Community College.
Linda has worked at the college since 2003. Linda earned
her Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice
from California State University, Long, Beach. Her
previous work experience was as a field training officer
with the Los Angeles Police Department. In
addition to working patrol and walking foot beat in
Hollywood, she worked various details such as undercover
vice and narcotics and a gang detail in southeast Los
Angeles (Watts.) |

Jennifer Bennett |
is employed with the 11th Judicial District of
Kansas as a Court Services Officer since 2001.
Previous to this position, she was an Intensive
Supervision Officer (ISO) with Community Corrections
from 1994-2001. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of
Science in Social Work form Pittsburg State University.
Jennifer has been as adjunct instructor with LCC since
2008. |

Macey McNickle |
is the Executive Director of Labette and Cherokee
Counties Juvenile Justice Authority. Macy earned
her Bachelor Science in Education from Pittsburg State
University, Pittsburg, Kansas. Macey has been an
adjunct instructor with LCC since 2007. |

Jason Sharp |
is employed with Parsons Police Department and is
currently a Detective Sergeant. Jason earned both
a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree in Criminal
Justice from Washburn University. He is currently
working towards an Education Specialist Degree from
Pittsburg State University. Jason received certified
training in Crime Science Investigations, Gangs,
Interview and Interrogation, and DUI check lanes.
Jason has been an adjunct instructor with LCC since
2008. |

Ken Steenrod |
has worked with Parsons, KS Police Department since
1977. He is currently a lieutenant of police
patrol and his previous experience was as the detective
lieutenant. Ken has been an adjunct instructor
with LCC since 1992. Ken has four degrees from
Labette Community College: General, Physics, Biology,
and Police Science. Ken is a certified radar
instructor and certified drug identification instructor.
He has received certified training in homicide
investigations, computer forensics, crime scene
investigation and reconstruction, accident scene
investigation and reconstruction, fingerprint
identification, family violence, sex crimes, crime scene
forensics, financial crimes, arson investigation,
traffic investigations, traffic control, disaster
management. These courses were taught by the FBI,
ATF, DEA, KBI, and Kansas Fire Marshal to name a few. |

Tim Tompkins |
has been a police officer in Kansas and South
Dakota since 1987; he is currently a Sergeant of
Administrative Services, with the Pittsburg Police
Department, Pittsburg, KS. Previously, Tim was the
Chief of Police with Brooklings Police Department,
Brooklings, South Dakota, from 2002-2006. Tim
earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
Administration from Bellevue University, Bellevue, NE.
Tim has received certified training in Drug Abuse and
Resistance Education, Gang Resistance Education,
Firefighter and Hazardous Materials Responder. He
has also attended 2 courses with Federal Bureau of
Investigation in Quantico, VA. Tim is also a
volunteer firefighter with Frontenac, KS. Tim has
been an adjunct instructor with LCC since 2009. |
