Welcome to LCC's Extension Sites

Labette Community College is proud to serve residents in several counties, including Labette and Cherokee.  Currently, we offer classes at the following sites:

Labette County - Altamont & Oswego
LCC offers general education courses at Labette County High School and Oswego High School.  

Cherokee County - Baxter Springs, Columbus, Galena, Riverton, & Weir
LCC reaches out to its outlying areas with many courses, services and programs. A broad range of courses including general education classes, workshops, and seminars are held at Baxter Springs High School, Columbus High School, Galena High School, Riverton High School, and the Weir Attendance Center.

Placement Testing: Any new students or students with less than 12 academic credit hours admitted to LCC after fall 2004 must take English , math and reading placement tests or have proof of acceptable ACT or SAT scores.

Enrollment and Bookmobile

At the beginning of each semester, enrollment nights are held at several extension sites to allow students convenient access to counselors, placement testing and financial aid representatives. The LCC bookmobile also attends the enrollment nights for students to purchase textbooks.
