The LCC Math Department invites all area high schools to join us in celebrating National Math Awareness Month. We are inviting local high school students to compete in an International online math competition during the week of April 4-8, 2011.

The competition is called the Purple Comet! Math Meet and is sponsored by the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater

Kim Miller, Professor of Mathematics at LCC, is looking for local high school students to form teams of about 6. Once a team is formed, a time will be chosen where the members can meet at the LCC campus to finish their online competition, which should last no longer than 90 minutes.
