The Music program at Labette Community College is designed to provide courses for the aspiring musician as well as the music lover. Whether your goal is to obtain a music degree, a commercial music certificate or just to increase your musical skills and knowledge, our music program can offer you that opportunity!

Traditional courses for music majors provide the basis of the first two years of a four-year music program. Students planning to major in music performance or music education can take the first two years of their bachelor's degree at LCC and then transfer to one of the major universities in the area.

Students and community members desiring to continue their love of music through performance can participate in any of the LCC performance ensembles.

Numerous scholarship opportunities exist for both the music major and the non-music major.
