Currently enrolled LCC students who are taking at least six credit hours and who meet one of the following criteria may be eligible for Operation Excel services.
- 1. First-generation college students. "First-generation" means that neither of the parents who had primary legal responsibility for the student until age 18 had a four-year college degree.
- 2. Economically-disadvantaged students. Economic status is determined by the student's taxable Federal income from the most recent tax year, currently 2006. Students who are claimed as a dependent on their parents' taxes will have their eligibility determined by their parents' taxable federal income from the most recent tax year.
- 3. Students with a documented learning or physical disability. Students wishing to receive services according their disabilities must contact Megan Hentzen, LCC ADA Coordinator, and coordinate their services through her office.
