Foundation and Alumni
Association held the
11th
Annual Auction for
Scholarships
Saturday, April 24,
2010 at the Parsons VFW.
The theme was “Peace,
Love and Scholarships” .
The Executive Director
of the Foundation and
Alumni Association,
Lindi Forbes,
was very grateful for
all the support from
donors, sponsors,
bidders, advertisers,
volunteers, and the LCC
staff and students that
participated. “Numerous
people contributed to
the success of our
event,” said Forbes. “We
are so thankful for the
generosity of our donors
and guests, who truly
believe in the value of
education.”
The gross proceeds for
the event were over
$47,600. There were 161
donors of items, 29
sponsors, and 9
advertisers, and 44
volunteers. The total
value of items
contributed to the
auction was $26,518.
