February.

members the opportunity to promote SkillsUSA programs at
activities at the local and state levels. Click

2007-2008 Officers
SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit student
organization serving 285,000 students enrolled in career and
technical training programs at public high schools and colleges.
By joining SkillsUSA at Labette Community
College you will get a chance to learn and practice
employability skills that will result in greater confidence,
have opportunities for over $1 million in scholarships, enter
competitions in the SkillsUSA championships at local, regional
and state or national levels, and engage in job contacts and
networking that lead to employment. Students will also receive
recognition from peers, teachers, and community leaders, have
access to SkillsUSA employment resources and have chances to
travel, meet new people and develop meaningful friendships.
