Wow! Our LCC SkillsUSA Chapter is off to a great start. We had seven local SkillsUSA Officers attend the Kansas Fall Leadership Conference in Hesston, KS October 3 & 4.

• Pete Reynolds, Local Chapter President was elected as a State Officer, and also won the Statesman Award.

• Jimi Cobb, Local Chapter Historian won 2^nd place in the SkillsUSA Creed Contest.

• The other 5 member officers (Vice President, Eric Lake; Parliamentarian, Nate Pope; Secretary, Stacy Daugherty; Reporter, Sherry Simpson; and Treasurer, Lucy Mwanzia) participated in other SkillsUSA activities and helped in promoting Pete for State Office.

We are blessed to have these students represent Labette Community College. They did an outstanding job! Here are a few pictures from the conference.
