course is an introduction to the practical application of computer-based
information systems and communication technology in a business
environment. The course
includes an introduction to information technology terminology, hardware,
software, data communications and a survey of programming languages and
computer technologies. The
Internet will be your classroom as well as an important research resource. |

course is delivered online; however, you must have access to
specific software in order to open the lecture slides and complete
software assignments, projects, and tests.
The requirements are: Word,
Excel, Access, and PowerPoint—versions compatible with Office 2000. Access to these applications is provided on campus.
If you do not have access to these applications, we need to discuss
this before you enroll in the course. |
