Course Description

a study of Kansas law pertaining to juveniles. Reviews the historical reasons for the establishment of juvenile courts in the U.S., examines the juvenile justice process and introduces the functions of the various components of the system, sociological concepts, theory of the adolescent subculture, and delinquency prevention aspects.
