Course Description

College Success Skills online provides an introduction to Labette Community College and the support systems within the college. The course also provides information on study skills, time management, money management, health issues, and career preparation. College exploration and transfer information is also available along with the opportunity for the student to make a two-year plan for their studies at LCC. The course will involve online assignments, projects, journals, and quizzes. The student needs to have a copy of the current student handbook and college catalog. The other information for the course will be provided by the instructor.

Meeting Dates & Times

  All correspondence, assignments, projects and tests will occur online.

Orientation Info

You will receive an orientation letter from the instructor about a week before the beginning of the class. This letter will answer some of your questions about getting started in the class, and will include your username and password. There will be no face-to-face orientation meeting, but you can call the instructor at (620) 820-1149 or email her at tammyf@labette.edu and arrange to meet her and go over the class and course software.
