What is my Username and How Do I find
my Password?
Online
Courses at LCC will all be taught using the RedZone except for the a few
Education courses.
For
RedZone:
-
Your
username
will be your Student ID # found on your Student ID card.
-
If you don't have one, call the
admissions office (620-820-1264)
-
Your
password will be your PIN Number
-
If you don't have
a PIN Number, call the IT
department (820-1146) or if you have your student ID number enter it in for
the username and then click (I forgot my password) this will generate a
new password and send it to your LCC email account or the email account
you have on file. Once it has sent the password check your email
and then you can change the password to something easy for you to
remember.
-
Students will receive an LCC email address ,
and will be expected to use that address for all online classes and LCC
correspondence after that time. Your student email will be in the
following format: Username:
firstname.lastname@student.labette.edu password: lastname plus
the last 4 digits of your social security number. (International
students will need to contact the IT department for their password) Students in online courses should expect
to check email daily during the week.
If you have additional questions, call Regena Lance at 620-820-1241 during
regular campus hours or 620-215-2060 after hours.
or email

You should log into
your class early in the week of the first week of class and
read everything you see.
-
Check to see if
there are any announcements (they
usually tell you how to get started) and press all the
buttons.
-
Don't be afraid to
click things- you can't hurt anything.
-
You
will usually have assignments due the first week.
-
You are
responsible for all the material on the course website, just
as if your instructor had said it in class in a traditional
classroom, so ask questions and don't wait.
Course participation
If you log into your online course, that is the same as
attending a class session, even if you don't submit any
work. To drop an online course and receive a full refund,
you must drop during the first two weeks of class.
