Welcome to Labette Community College
On behalf of Labette Community College's faculty, staff, administration, students, and Trustees I wish to extend to you my warm, personal, and enthusiastic welcome to our vibrant, academic community. Labette Community College is a comprehensive institution offering a full range of degree programs, transfer and support services including an extensive Academic Resource Center, and credentialed certificates in a wide array of fields. With an LCC education you can be ready for immediate employment in the workforce or transfer to a four-year college or university.

I invite you to come and tour our campus in Parsons, and our new Cherokee Center. Explore the many wonderful opportunities that LCC has to offer you, and meet the people who will help you to transform your academic goals into the fulfillment of your educational and career dreams.

Learning is a journey that has the potential to satisfy your intellectual curiosity and provide you with new ways of thinking about he world around us - it can fulfill your dreams. It is a journey that doesn't have an end although you will surely earn your rewards with a certificate or degree if that is your goal.

This is your college. It is a place where you will form lasting relationships with a diverse and dedicated group of individuals who share your interest in learning. Faculty, staff and administrators at the college are always available to help guide you along the path towards your goals. Our primary goal is to help you reach your highest potential.

I am proud to serve as the President of Labette Community College. I regard it a great privilege to lead a rural, progressive, and outstanding institution that values and respects diversity. We are here to help our students reach their goals; I can think of no higher calling.
