LCC to Host AKCCOP Conference

 

Labette Community College will be the host of the 2008 Association of Kansas Community College Office Professionals (AKCCOP) conference.

 

The association includes members from two-year colleges in Kansas, and it can trace its history back two decades. 

 

AKCCOP started as an association for community college secretaries and has since expanded to include a various office positions within the community college structure.

 

LCC is hosting the 41^st AKCCOP conference, “Building for Your Future”.

 

During the conference, attendees will take part in meetings, presentations, and a circle of collegues which gives office professionals a chance to find out how other community colleges with similar departments are run.
