LCC to Hold Scholarship Auction

 

All Aboard. The Labette Community College Foundation & Alumni Association is hosting the 9^th Annual Auction for Scholarships on Saturday, April 26^th.

 

This year’s auction theme “All Aboard for Scholarships” was inspired by the community’s rich Katy Railroad history. The evening will begin at 6:30 pm at the Parsons VFW Hall with a dinner and live and silent auctions. Both live and silent auctions are packed with unique, hard-to-find, and fun items like a Branson fishing trip, KU & K-State football tickets, massage a month for a year, St. Louis Cardinal tickets, Nehme’s famous Baklava, interior design consultation, KU National Champion items, and many more exciting items. There will even be drawings for cash.

 

The Labette Community College Foundation provides approximately $90,000 annually for student scholarships. The Auction for Scholarships raises almost 45% of the money for these student scholarships.
