Knox Receives Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction from Phi Theta Kappa
Dr.
George Knox, Labette Community College President, was recently awarded the
Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction through Phi Theta Kappa, the
National Honor Society of the Two-Year College.
College presidents and campus chief executive officers, nominated by Phi
Theta Kappa chapters, are selected for this award based on their outstanding
support of Phi Theta Kappa. His nomination was written by Ian
Kraskoff, Executive Officer of the Tau Theta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at
Labette Community College.
Dr. Knox will be honored at Phi Theta Kappa’s Annual Convention, April 8-10, 2010, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.
More information regarding Dr. Knox’s award will be available after the Phi Theta Kappa convention in April.
