Labette Community College Director of Nursing, Dr. DeLyna Bohnenblust, Ed.D, MSN, RN, ARNP, CNS has earned the designation Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) after successfully completing a rigorous certification examination developed and administered by the National League for Nursing.

Nationwide, there are only three schools with such a high percentage of nurse faculty who have earned their CNE. The other schools earning the CNE credential include Trinitas School of Nursing and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas
“LCC is among an elite group of nursing programs in the country that has achieved this milestone of earning the CNE,” said Tracy Ortelli, Manager of the Nurse Certification Program.
