LCC to Host Labette Idol

 

Campus Activities Board (CAB) of Labette Community College will host the third annual Labette Idol November 30^th at 7 p.m. in the Thiebaud Theatre. Labette Idol is the annual vocal talent contest the college sponsors. 

 

Two age categories are available for contestants to enter: 16 and younger & 17 and older.  Entry fees are $20 or $15 for LCC students or staff. 

 

Cash prizes will be awarded for each category. First place will receive $300; second place will be rewarded with $200; and third place will receive $100. 

 

Donations from local businesses are given to all the contestants that participate in the Labette Idol. The community is encouraged to attend the local talent entered in the Labette Idol.  In addition to the talent show, Sign for the Devine will perform during the intermission. 

 

A $1 admission donation or a non-perishable food item to assist with future service projects will be taken at the door. LCC students and staff are free with a valid Cardinal Student ID card.
