LCC Nursing to Hold December Pinning

 

The Labette Community College nursing department will hold their bi-annual nursing pinning on Wednesday, December 12. The pinning will be held at 6:30pm in the Parsons Municipal Auditorium.

 

In January 2004, the dual-entry program was initiated. Forty freshmen are admitted every August, and thirty-five freshmen are admitted every January. The total capacity of the program, including both freshmen and sophomores is one-hundred and fifty students.

 

The December 2007 nursing graduates are: Debbie Stroud, Arma; Carol Murrison, Chetopa; Tammy Regis, Angela Sandusky, Karen Shufelt, Brooka Thomsen, Coffeyville; Jennifer Reid, Heather Schuberger, Columbus; Trina DeMeritt, Iris Michael, Erie; Kevin Kepley, Galena; Amy Goins, Independence; Constance Allen, McCune; Sarah McCray, Mound Valley Misti Bond, Neodesha;; Laura Beery, Teresa Schneider, Maranda Scott, Crystal Winkler, David York, Parsons; Modester Ahinkukha, Ellie Graul, Heather Martin, Amelia McLearan, Jody Terrill, Pittsburg; Andrea Umbarger, Thayer.

 

Graduates will receive family and friends during a reception immediately following the ceremony in the basement of the auditorium.
