Student Email Access and Instructions

In order to improve communication between you and your instructors and to keep you updated on college events, LCC has implemented a student email system. The account is free and will be provided to all currently enrolled students. Your student email will be created within 48 hours of enrollment. At higher enrollment periods your email will be created within 24 hours.

Your username: firstname.lastname      (Do not add @student.labette.edu, it will be added for you)
                 Ex. chris.cardinal

Your password: lastname plus the last four digits of your SSN  (lastname####)
                 Ex. cardinal1234
***Note: If your last name only has three characters in it you will need to add your first initial to
                 your password. Ex. Jane Doe –password would be jdoe####
                 If your last name only has two characters in it your password will be your firstname
                 plus lastname plus last four of your ssn. Ex. Jane Do –password would be janedo####

Your full email address is firstname.lastname@student.labette.edu
                                     chris.cardinal@student.labette.edu

There is a possibility that two students may have the same first name and last name. Therefore, we will add a number one to the end of the last name of the student with the duplicate name.
Ex. chris.cardinal1@student.labette.edu

Please note that your LCC email account with be the ONLY email account used by LCC employees. It is important that you check your account regularly for important information and communication, especially if you are enrolled in an online class.
