Currently enrolled LCC students who are taking at least six credit hours and who meet one of the following criteria may be eligible for Student Support Services services.
- 1. First-generation college students. "First-generation" means that neither of the parents who had primary legal responsibility for the student until age 18 had a four-year college degree.
- 2. Economically-disadvantaged students. Economic status is determined by the student's taxable Federal income from the most recent tax year, currently 2010. Students who are considered dependent students by the Financial Aid office will have their eligibility determined by their parents' taxable federal income from the most recent tax year.
- 3. Students with a documented learning or physical disability. Students wishing to receive services according their disabilities must contact Megan Hentzen, LCC ADA Coordinator, and coordinate their services through her office.
An application for program services is available for download HERE. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the document. Please print the application, complete it in full, and return it and any supporting documentation (such as Federal Income Tax Returns) to the Student Support Services Offices in the Student Success Center.
Additionally, qualified applicants must complete the intake procedure, demonstrate a need for academic services, and fully participate in program activities.
