Apply For Financial Aid: Fill
out the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at

Familiarize Yourself With The Semester Course
Schedule: Please
look through the coming semester course schedule to give yourself
an idea as to what courses are being offered, and at what times.
This will better prepare you to work with your advisor, so that
you two can form a schedule that you’re comfortable with. View
our
semester
course schedule online, or request one by contacting us via
phone (1-888-LABETTE) or e-mail Admissions (admissions@labette.edu),
so that a copy can be sent to you.
Submit All High School and/or College Transcripts To
The Admissions Office: This should be done as soon as possible following graduation. All
transcripts must be official, so you should either have them sent
directly from your school to LCC, or if delivered by you, the
transcripts must be sealed in an envelope directly from the
issuing school.
Submit ACT Scores To The Admissions Office: This
is required prior to enrollment. You and your high school should
both have a copy of your ACT scores that you could submit to us.
If you have not taken the ACT at the time of enrollment, then you
can simply follow the next step on the list.
Complete The Compass Placement Exams: The
Compass tests are for those students who have either not taken the
ACT at all, or those who have taken the ACT, but have not met the
required scores in one or all of three areas: Reading, English,
and Math. The following minimum scores are needed in order to
avoid taking the Compass test in that particular area: Reading-18,
English-18, Math-20.
Enroll With Your Assigned Advisor: You
will be assigned an advisor based on your major of choice, or
primary area of interest. As the student, it will be your
responsibility to make an appointment with your advisor so that
you can come in and officially get enrolled.
Arrange Payments Methods With The Business Office: There
are a number of ways that payment can be taken care of with us
here at LCC. Please feel free to explore all of those options with
our business office staff. You can also view payment options
online at www.labette.edu.
Find Housing: The College does not provide on-campus
housing, or residence halls. However, there are a number of other
very affordable housing, and apartment options throughout
Parsons that may be available to you. Please feel free to contact
our admissions department regarding a list of realtors in Parsons.
This will prove very helpful in allowing you to find a place that
is suited to your needs.
*International
students will require additional information. Please contact our
Admissions Office for details.
