How do you apply?
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA). We recommend you
complete this online as it allows us to process your request more quickly so you will
know sooner whether you qualify
for financial assistance. If you cannot complete the
form online, you may pick up a FAFSA form in the
Financial Aid Office on the second
floor of the Student Union.
FAFSA will send you a Student Aid Report (SAR) in the mail. When you receive this,
bring it to the
LCC Financial Aid Office where we will calculate your aid award.
Contact all high schools and colleges you have attended and request them to send official
transcripts to the LCC Financial Aid Office, 200 South 14th Street, Parsons, KS 67357
Complete the Labette Community College Financial Assistance Application
Please note: If you have not completed a
FAFSA online before, it may be very helpful to click on the first link, Help
With FAFSA. Individuals that visit this website prior to completing the FAFSA will be more prepared and have a better understanding
of the computerized process. The userid is eddemo and the password is fafsatest.
When should you apply?
Priority deadlines for scholarship applications are April 15. You cannot fill out the
Financial
Assistance Application online, pick up the form in the LCC Financial Aid
Office or call (620) 820-1226.
