HOW DOES THE SCHOLARSHIP WORK? The Professional
Staff Group Book Scholarship is primarily a “book loan” scholarship. If the student’s application is accepted, the
Professional Staff Group Book Scholarship will loan the required book(s). The student is to use the specified book(s)
for the specified semester. The scholarship will not cover
consumable books such as lab manuals or workbooks. The deadline for
applications is one week before the semester begins. Applications received
after the deadline will not be considered.
Summer scholarships do not include the purchase of
new books, only books that are currently in the Professional Staff Group
Library.
The book(s) are
due back to Pat Kuhel in the Operation
Excel Office no later than 4:30 p.m. on the last day of finals
for the current semester. If the book is
not returned, the student will reimburse the Professional Staff Book
Scholarship Committee for the amount of the book. The student will not receive any transcripts
or grades until the book is returned or payment is made.
