Online Help for Federal Loan Applications

Help is also available online for those who want to apply for federal loans. Interest rates are currently under five percent. Individuals may learn whether they are eligible to apply by going to http://www.mapping-your-future.org/. At the site, answers to a series of questions will determine eligibility. Answering the questions should take approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Immediately upon completing the questionnaire, a pop-up screen will tell users whether they are eligible to apply. Eligible persons who want to apply must complete paper application for a federal loan, sign it, and bring or mail to the Financial Aid Office. Individuals must complete a FAFSA before submitting a loan application.
