If you are a High School Senior, then this website is made for you! Getting ready for college can be a confusing and busy time. Labette Community College has made it easy for you to remember deadlines while learning the exciting process of starting college. Here is a timeline of your senior year in high school and everything you will need to do to prepare yourself for college.
 

August:	▪	Request information about admission into colleges you are interested in.
	▪	ACT registration date - August 10th for the September 15th test.
September:	▪	Schedule a campus visit to your favorite colleges.
	▪	ACT registration date - September 21st for the October 27th test.
	▪	ACT test date - September 15th.
October:	▪	Ask your high school counselor about visits from college recruiters.
	▪	ACT test date - October 27th
November:	▪	Sign up for visits with college recruiters at your high school.
	▪	ACT registration date - November 2nd for the December 8th test.
December:	▪	Surf the web over Christmas break and research your top colleges choices.
	▪	ACT test date December 8th
January:	▪	Complete student and parent income tax information.
	▪	Be aware of scholarship deadlines.
		ACT registration date - January 4th for the February 9th test.
February:	▪	Fill out FAFSA with income tax information.
	▪	Submit scholarship applications.
	▪	Continue to apply for admission by filling out an LCC application.
	▪	RSVP for LCC Senior Day.
	▪	ACT test date - February 9th
March:	▪	File your FAFSA, if you have not already done so.
	▪	Submit scholarship application, priority deadline is April 1st.
	▪	Submit LCC application.
	▪	RSVP for LCC Senior Day.
	▪	ACT registration date - March 7th for April 12th test.
April:	▪	Attend LCC Senior Day.
	▪	Priority deadline for scholarships is April 1st.
	▪	Check with Financial Aid Department to make sure everything is complete.
	▪	Research housing options.
	▪	ACT test Date - April 12th
May:	▪	Request your high school transcript to be sent to your future college after graduation.
	▪	Make an appointment with your advisor to enroll for Summer/Fall courses.
	▪	ACT registration date - May 9th for June 14th test.
June:	▪	Make an appointment with your advisor to enroll for Fall courses
	▪	ACT test date - June 14th
July:	▪	Make an appointment with your advisor to enroll for Fall courses.
	▪	Decide on housing situations.
