Labette Idol

Spener Lee, of Joplin, wins for a second year in a row at the 3rd Annual Labette Idol.

Bret Province, of Oswego, wins 1st place in the 17 and Older category at the 3rd Annual Labette Idol.

Kelcie O'Connell of Parsons, Sarah Ong of Parsons, and Spencer Lee of Joplin, are the top three winners in the 16 and Younger category at the 3rd Annual Labette Idol.

Micheal Linthicum of Parsons, Adin Blankinship of Chetopa, and Bret Province of Oswego, are the top three winners in the 17 and Older category at the 3rd Annual Labette Idol.

Labette Community College’s Labette Idol was held on Friday, November 30th. The event was a success with over 200 spectators.

Contestants were judged by Rebecca Roach, LCC Advisor/Recruiter and Private Woodwind Instructor; Adam Hendrickson, LCC Commercial Music Student; and Seth Roach, Parsons High School Band Instructor.

In the 16 and under age category, 1^st place was awarded to Spencer Lee of Joplin, MO, 2^nd place Sarah Ong of Parsons, and 3^rd place Kelcie O'Connell of Parsons.

In the 17 and Older age category, 1^st place was awarded to Bret Province of Oswego, 2^nd place Adin Blankinship of Chetopa, and 3^rd place Micheal Linthicum of Parsons.

Idol was sponsored by LCC Student Government Association and Campus Activities Board.
