BOOKSTORE
The College Bookstore is located on the first floor of the Student Union and is normally open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hours are extended from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. the first two weeks of each semester. The Bookstore sells textbooks and school supplies, including those unique to some programs such as allied health and art. There are also stylish clothing and various items displaying the school logo and snacks.
LCC delivers textbooks to each extension site that courses are offered. However, if it is more convenient to purchase textbooks at another site on another evening, call the Bookstore (421-6700 x1165 or x1166) before 2 p.m. The Bookstore and Bookmobile schedules are listed in each semester’s class schedule. Please consult the list for dates and times or contact us via email: Bookstore@labette.edu
For students enrolled only in online courses and do not have the opportunity to come to the campus bookstore, you may go to the LCC homepage: www.labette.edu and click on the eCampus icon.
TEXTBOOK POLICY
Labette Community College, in an effort to ensure that the institution minimize costs to students, hereby adopts the following policy concerning the repurchase and resale of used textbooks. Though provisions for repurchase and resale of used textbooks must be fair and equitable to students, the policy should not impair the sound fiscal management and operation of the college bookstore.
In order to increase the availability of used textbooks, LCC will implement a three-year adoption rule. Exceptions to using a textbook for less than three years must be approved by the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Spring - During the first two weeks of classes
For short-term (mini-semester) courses, textbooks will be bought back for full credit at the discretion of the Bookstore manager
B. Textbooks, which are in good condition and which will be used the following semester, will be bought back at 30-40% of the list price of the book. It will be the responsibility of the bookstore personnel to post, each semester, specific textbook buy back dates:
· Summer - Last two weeks of July.
· Fall - Last week of November through the last day of classes before Winter Break.
· Spring - Last week of April to last day of classes.
