ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES (New Students) *
Complete application form and have your high school transcript and transcripts from other colleges sent to LCC.
Take placement assessments, if necessary (ACT score may waive this).
Complete and send your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. The FAFSA is also necessary to be eligible for LCC scholarships as well as grants and low-interest loans. Go to www.labette.edu/stusvcs/finaid/finaid.htm#fafsa or call x1178, x1246 or x1143 for a personal, private appointment to assist you with the FAFSA.
Contact the Office of Student Affairs to find out the name of your adviser and make an appointment to select your courses.
Take completed enrollment form that has been signed by your adviser to the Office of Student Affairs. You will receive a printed schedule with billing information.
Obtain a Cardinal Card from Admissions.
Visit with a Financial Aid Assistant and learn about the numerous options available to pay for your education (over 95% of LCC students are eligible to receive financial aid--if you will allow us to help you with the paperwork).
Pay at the Business Office or make payment arrangements.
Your enrollment is now complete.
NOTICE!!!!!
*** It is important to enroll as soon as possible to get the instructors, courses, times, locations and course delivery options that you prefer, especially if you want morning courses. These options will lessen the longer you wait to enroll.
