FOOD SERVICE

The Cardinal Café in the Student Union is open from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Mon-Fri.  The Café is known for its home-style food and its “hungryman” (Trudy) portions!!!  Special and daily rates are available. Our weekly specials continue to grow in popularity, and we often offer entrees from $1-$2.00 such as thick hamburgers, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and more!!!  Guests of students and the general public are welcome.  For additional information, including information regarding our professional catering services for large or small groups, contact Food Service at 620-421-6700 x1184 or email:  TrudyY@labette.edu.  (Groups hosting events on campus, especially during normal business hours, that involve food are to coordinate via food service.)  Smart students request several meal cards and have them charged to their financial aid account, which allows them to benefit from a discount plus the convenience of not having to carry cash.  Anyone can purchase a discount meal card from the Cardinal Cafe.
