The PREP (People Reaching
Excellence Through Preparation) Talent Search Program at Labette
Community College serves a Tri-County area in Southeast Kansas,
which includes Labette, Cherokee, and Crawford Counties.
The Goal of Prep Talent
Search is to address a number of critical educational needs of the
three identified counties by a multitude of services designed to
increase the likelihood of disadvantaged youths, adults, and other
exceptional citizens and residents who live in the service area,
completing secondary education and entering the post-secondary
educational institution of their choice.
