Athletic Training

Welcome to Athletic Training at Labette Community College!

Labette Community College offers an Associate in Science Athletic Training Degree to prepare you to continue your Bachelor's Degree at the next level. At Labette Community College, the coursework and the invaluable student athletic training experience will prepare you to make the transition to a four-year institution with all the skills you will need to succeed.

I invite you to learn more about Athletic Training through this site and hope to hear from you soon. Labette Community College has scholarships available to those students wishing to be Cardinal Student Athletic Trainers.

LCC is home to six varsity sports and is a member of the prestigious Jayhawk Conference. Each sport has seen success with a high number of athletes receiving conference, regional, and national awards for their success. As recently as 2013 the Labette Community College Cardinal wrestlers captured the national title and in 2009 the women's basketball team were 3rd in the NJCAA. Their success at these levels requires the support of Athletic Trainers, both certified and students, to help prepare them for that success and provide medical care if they become injured.
