The athletic training room is located in the far left corner of the gymnasium when entering through the front doors. 

SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT

  • In athletic training room: hot/cold whirlpools, cryotherapy, hot packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation

  • Water and cups near bench

  • Ice chest with bags

  • Garbage bins near bench

  • Vacuum splints and crutches if needed

  • AED is located between the two locker rooms in the gymnasium and an AED will be with the certified athletic trainer at outdoor events

  • Blood spill kit with bio-hazard bags near each bench for indoor events

  • 1 towel for water spills on floor for indoor events

  • Please provide your own water bottles and bench/shower towels

     
COVERAGE AND ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM SERVICES

  • A certified athletic trainer will be present at all home LCC events.

  • The athletic training room will be open for use of taping tables and/or pre-game treatments two hours prior to event and will remain open for at least 30 minutes after competition.

  • The ATC will leave the athletic training room to be present at off-campus sites approximately one hour prior to event time to address any taping needs.

  • Emergency transportation will be on-call.

If a visiting team does not travel with a certified athletic trainer:

  • Please bring your own taping supplies.

  • Please bring a written statement from a certified athletic trainer or team physician approving ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, and/or whirlpools.

  • Please contact LCC to make us aware of any unusual requests or needs.

In the event that there are multiple events being hosted simultaneously someone minimally certified in First Aid/CPR/AED will be at the event site if the ATC is not present. If not present the ATC will be on-site or within response distance via cell phone contact.
