Brittany Haley, MSE, LAT, ATC, CES

Brittany Haley started as the Athletic Trainer at Labette Community College in 2014 but brings a decade of experience to LCC athletes. She is a certified BOC Athletic Trainer and is licensed by the state of Kansas.

Prior to LCC, Haley spent two years at Union University (TN) primarily working with women’s soccer, baseball, and adjunct teaching for their accredited athletic training education program. Previous to that she spent five years as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Bellevue University in Nebraska where she was the primary trainer for the women's softball, volleyball, and soccer teams while assisting with men’s soccer, basketball, and baseball. During her time at BU her teams totaled eight national tournament appearances. She also taught courses in Health and Human Performance as well as Sports Management. While at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln she served as the Injury Prevention and Care Coordinator for Campus Recreation. She also spent time as a Graduate Assistant at Wayne State College (NE) working with football, volleyball, women’s soccer, both basketballs, and softball.

Along with her on campus duties, Haley also served as the chair for the NAIA-ATA Professional Education and Research Committee.  During her two years as chairperson she helped lead the work on establishing guidelines for a Performance Enhancing Drug Policy, Sickle Cell Policy, Concussion Policy, and an Emergency Action Plan.

A native of Topeka, Kan., Haley holds a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Sport Management from Wayne State College (NE). She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bethany College where she double-majored in Athletic Training and Health and Physical Education, K-12.  She has completed the National Registered Emergency Medical Technician Basic program at Creighton University (NE). She has also earned the Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Corrective Exercise Specialists (CES) certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
