LCC Student Email Access & Instructions

In order to improve communication between you and your instructors and to keep you updated on college events, LCC has implemented a student email system. The account is free and will be provided to all currently enrolled students. New student email could take up to 48 hours to be created after you enroll. At higher enrollment periods your email will be created within 24 hours.

Username: firstname.lastname

Ex. chris.cardinal

Password: lastname plus the last four digits of your SSN (lastname####)

Ex. cardinal1234

• Note: If your last name only has three characters in it you will need to add your first initial to your password.
  Ex. Jane Doe –password would be jdoe####
• If your last name only has two characters in it your password will be your firstname plus lastname plus last four of your ssn.
  Ex. Jane Do –password would be janedo####

Email Address: firstname.lastname@student.labette.edu

Ex. chris.cardinal@student.labette.edu

• Your full email address is firstname.lastname@student.labette.edu
• There is a possibility that two students may have the same first name and last name. Therefore, we will add a number one to the end of the last name of the student with the duplicate name.
  Ex. chris.cardinal1@student.labette.edu

Windows XP or newer enter administration\username and password. Be sure to use the backslash above the enter key in between the domain name and user name.

• Please note that your LCC email account will be the ONLY email account used by LCC employees.
• It is important that you check your account regularly for important information and communication, especially if you are enrolled in an online class.
• All communication concerning college business will be sent to your LCC student e-mail address. It is your responsibility to check this account on a regular basis.
• LCC will never ask for your password in an email.
