On-Campus Support Services Available Weekly in Student Success Center at Labette Community College
Labette Community College (LCC) is proud to offer student support from two on-campus services each week through the Labette Center for Mental Health and the Delaware Tribe’s Family and Children Services. These services are available to students through walk-in visits or optional appointments and are located in the Student Success Center, Room L107A.
The Labette Center for Mental Health provides counseling services at LCC every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A representative is available to assist students seeking mental health resources in a convenient and familiar setting. The campus representative is Kylie Jenkins, a mental health intern with Labette Center for Mental Health through Fort Hays State University’s graduate program.
“Through Fort Hays State University’s graduate program, I’ve been able to provide therapy services to the students of Labette Community College,” Jenkins said. “If any student is struggling with mental health challenges, such as anxiety or depression, I am at the Student Success Center on Wednesdays from 11 to 2. I look forward to meeting students and providing support on campus.”
Jenkins can be reached at 620-778-9726 or kylie@lcmhs.com.
The Delaware Tribe’s Family and Children Services is available on campus every Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This service offers information, resources, and assistance for students seeking support related to domestic violence. The on-campus representative is Melissa Radford, who can be reached at 620-879-2189 or mradford@delawaretribe.org.
Both services are housed in the same office space within the Student Success Center, Room L107A, located next to the office of Case Manager Regina Decker. Appointments may be scheduled through Decker; however, appointments are not required, and walk-ins are welcome during scheduled service hours.
These on-campus partnerships reflect Labette Community College’s ongoing commitment to student well-being by ensuring access to confidential, supportive, and easily accessible resources.
