Tonya D. Neises

I was born and raised in Neodesha, KS. I attended Pittsburg State University earning both my Bachelor of Arts and my Master of Arts in Communication.

My career in higher education began in 2000 and I cannot imagine doing anything else! I joined the team at Labette Community College in 2009 teaching full-time in the Communication Department. I teach public speaking, interpersonal communication, public relations and advertising.

My husband, Kevin, and I have five children; Bryce, Gage, and Taelyn Bell, and Peyton and Cooper Neises. Besides spending time with my crew, I enjoy running, tap dancing, spending time on the farm or at the lake, traveling, and being a lifelong learner.
