Financial Aid & Scholarships
The Financial Aid Office at Labette Community College assists you in getting the maximum amount of aid you are eligible to receive. Our programs include scholarships, Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Education Grants, Federal Workstudy, Direct Loans and Institutional Workstudy. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to be eligible for and receive Federal student aid funds.

- Notice: We cannot accept Tax Returns for verification-Only Tax Transcripts. For Tax Transcripts call 1-800-908-9946 or visit irs.gov.
Tentative Disbursement Dates:
Students will receive email notification 2 days prior to disbursement.
Upcoming Spring 2017 Semester Deadlines:
|December 15th:|| Must have your financial aid file complete to be eligible* to charge books for the Summer semester. Your file is complete when you receive an award letter. *Eligibility to charge your books depends upon the amount of your award.
|January 23rd:||Must complete online scholarship form for preference for Spring semester.|
|April 7th:||Last day to turn in all required forms and documents to complete financial aid file for Spring semester/previous Fall semester/Spring disbursement. Students requesting a loan must complete all four steps of the Direct Student Loan Process.|
|April 14th:||Last day to turn in appeal form and degree audit for the Spring semester. If the appeal form for Spring aid is not turned in today, you will not be eligible for federal financial aid for the Spring semester.|
*Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis and there are limited funds
