LCC Hosting Blood Drive

The American Red Cross has announced that blood donors are urgently needed. Labette Community College is helping fill the need by hosting a Community Blood Drive next week. It will be held in the Cardinal Event Center, 1306 Main Street in Parsons, on Wednesday, October 12 from 12-6pm and Thursday, October 13 from 8-12.
Individuals can sign up to donate at https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=LabetteCC Donors will receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of their choice.
The Red Cross follows a high standard of safety and infection control. While donors are no longer required to wear a facemask, individuals may choose to continue to wear a mask for any reason. People may still donate after receiving a COVID-19 vaccination.
