Labette Community College Announces Semi-Annual "Cardinal Connect" Business Showcase Event

Parsons, Kansas – Labette Community College (LCC) is excited to extend an invitation to local businesses and community members to participate in the upcoming semi-annual "Cardinal Connect" Business Showcase Event.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 17 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Main Campus in Parsons. This occasion provides an excellent opportunity for businesses to engage with LCC students, showcase their offerings, and connect with potential employees.
"We are thrilled to host the Cardinal Connect Business Showcase once again," said Lindi Forbes, Interim Director of Public Relations and Foundation Director at Labette Community College. "This event serves as a platform for local businesses to interact with our students, promote their goods and services, and foster meaningful connections within our study body community."
Last year's event saw participation from approximately 25 Parsons businesses, with positive feedback from attendees. This year promises to be even more dynamic, offering businesses the chance to set up booths, again free of charge. Each participant will be provided with a table and two chairs to display informational material and giveaways.
"We encourage businesses to utilize this opportunity for employee recruitment, as well as to showcase their products or services," added Forbes. "Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with networking opportunities and engagement."
The event will be held outdoors in the breezeway at the Main Campus, with provisions in place for inclement weather. In the event of rain, booths will be relocated indoors to the Cardinal Event Center. Convenient parking will be available in the lot just north of the Student Union off of 13th Street, with assistance provided by student helpers for loading and unloading.

Please note that LCC will be closed for Spring Break from March 11th to March 15th, with RSVPs accepted upon the college's reopening on March 18th.
