Pages of Possibility
An event to help raise awareness about the programs offered by the Parsons Public Library, raise donations for children’s programs and how reading can help children

Parsons, KS— Labette Community Colleges Public Relations student, Bella Dominguez, is partnering with the Parsons Public Library and Olsons Ace Hardware to launch “Pages of Possibility,” an informative campaign, designed to share information about the Parsons Public Library.
The public is invited to stop by Olsons Ace Hardware in Parsons from April 15 -18 to view an information table, located in the center of the store, highlighting how reading benefits children. Visitors can also learn about the upcoming activities and programs offered by the Parsons Public Library as well as donate to benefit the library.
According to the National Institute of Health, books can provide children with new information about the world, expand vocabulary, and help with communication between the storyteller and the listeners. Area children spend countless hours at the public library participating in activities and reading books.
