Labette Community College Named #1 Nursing Program in Kansas

Nursing Students

Parsons, KS— Labette Community College (LCC) is proud to announce that its Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program has been ranked #1 in the state of Kansas according to the latest evaluation by RegisteredNursing.org. This recognition is an outstanding achievement of LCC’s Nursing Program students and faculty.

The ranking by RegisteredNursing.org is based primarily on NCLEX-RN first-time pass rates — a key metric of how well a nursing program prepares its graduates for licensure and clinical readiness. In recent years, LCC’s ADN program has achieved perfect pass rates, demonstrating both the rigor of its curriculum and an environment that supports student success.

“We are proud to receive this recognition by Registered Nursing org.,”said Dr. DeLyna Bohnenblust, Director of Nursing at Labette Community College. “This achievement is a testament to the commitment and passion of the faculty, whose passion for teaching and mentorship shapes the next generation of nurses in our community. We also extend a heartfelt gratitude to our students, whose resilience and hard work in the classroom and clinical setting extends toward excellence to achieve the high standards established by the nursing program.”

Since its establishment in 1968, LCC’s Nursing Program has graduated over 1,500 nurses who have gone on to pass the NCLEX-RN exam and serve communities across Kansas and beyond.
