Director of Respiratory Care Program

The Director of the Respiratory Care program is responsible for the overall administration of the Respiratory care including curriculum development, maintenance of accreditation status, and evaluation of the program and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s License
  • 4 years of experience as an RRT
  • 2 years of experience clinical respiratory care
  • 2 years of teaching experience as Bachelor's as appointment or clinical faculty in a CoARC accredited respiratory care program
  • If no bachelor degree is held then the candidate must be able to meet the required educational requirements from CoARC within 2 years of hire.

Typically, a four-day work week, Monday to Thursday, with the ability to be flexible when visiting clinical sites. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, paid LCC tuition for employees and dependents, Kansas Public Employment Retirement System (KPERS), KPERS 457, 403B with the matching plan, and the Kansas state plan of insurance for medical, dental, and vision. Supplemental insurance is also offered.
The salary is based on experience and is to begin within the range of $63,961 to $79,895 annually. This is a full-time, exempt position. The position remains open until filled. Application review will begin 07/27/2026.
