Student Support Services Academic Advisor


The Academic Advisor will serve under the Student Support Services federal grant. There are 2 positions available, one will focus on health science and one will be general education. Academic Advisors are responsible for providing advising, financial literacy and appropriate case management services to students. They create student learning plans, monitor student progress and document extensively.

Required Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an associate’s degree in health science.
The TRIO Student Support Services program is 100% funded by a grant from the Department of Education.  This position is contingent on receiving grant funding for the 2025-2030 grant cycle. The funding slate will be announced by August 31st, 2025. The ideal candidate should be able to start the position by September 15th or sooner once funding is secured.
