Labette Community College Announces 2026 Homecoming Queen and King

Parsons, KS – Labette Community College celebrated its 2026 Homecoming on Wednesday, January 28, honoring two students who have made a strong impact on campus through their involvement, leadership, and school spirit.

Caitlyn Suhrie was crowned the 2026 Homecoming Queen. Suhrie, the daughter of Bill and Janell Suhrie, is from Diamond, Missouri, and was nominated by the LCC Softball team. She is majoring in Elementary Education and has been an active member of the Cardinal softball program during her time at Labette.

After graduating from LCC, Suhrie plans to transfer to a university where she will continue her softball career while earning a bachelor’s degree. She hopes to become a middle school teacher and coach.

Fernando Dominguez was named the 2026 Homecoming King. Ramos is the son of Elia Macedo and Alejandro Ramos and is from Catoosa, Oklahoma. He was nominated by the Student Ambassadors and is highly involved on campus, serving with Student Government and competing on the LCC Wrestling team.

Dominguez is majoring in Health Science and Business. After LCC, he plans to travel extensively, including visiting all 50 states and 194 countries, while also participating in mission trips. His long-term goals include coaching wrestling and football, working in the aerospace industry, and eventually purchasing property in Mexico to help his family start a sugarcane business. He hopes to continue building a future rooted in leadership, service, and creativity.

“The staff and students selected two incredibly deserving individuals,” said Harrison Hall, Student Life Associate at Labette Community College. “Their school pride, leadership, and dedication have left a lasting impact on our campus. We are extremely proud to recognize them as our Homecoming Queen and King.”
